Pastoral Care of our Students, Families and Staff
I am honoured to be serving the wonderful community of St Joseph's Primary School in the role of Chaplain.
Central to Catholic education is educating the "whole" person and seeing every single person in the way that God sees them, each with a unique and beautiful set of gifts and talents, a spiritual life, a place in the world and each called to communion with God and with one another. St Joseph's Primary School is a caring community, marked by strong Gospel values that are lived out in our everyday interactions with one another, our families and the wider community.
I look forward to working with staff to engage students in social justice activities that will bring about an awareness of others and foster a climate of tolerance and respect for all.
The nature of chaplaincy is simply 'to be there', especially for those who require additional support, comfort, space for reflection or a listening ear. I am here to support anyone in our community who is in need. Please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office.
"To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money and that is sincerity and integrity."
